Selection Procedure:
(I) Asstt. Managers (E01 to E06): It will be a 3-stage process – Written Exam (2 papers), GD & Interview followed by Medical Examination.
(II) Station Controller/Train Operator (NE01) & Customer Relations Assistant (NE02): It will be a 4-stage process – Written Exam (2 papers), Psychometric Test (qualifying) & Interview followed by Medical examination.
(III) Jr.Engineers (Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical & Civil) (NE03, NE04, NE05, & NE06): It will be a 3-stage process – Written Exam (2 papers), Interview followed by Medical examination.
(IV) Account Asstt. (NE07): It will be a 2-stage process – Written Exam (2 papers), followed by Medical examination. No interview will be conducted for this category.
(V) Maintainer (NE08): It will be a 2-stage process – Written Exam (1 paper), followed by Medical examination.
Written Exam:
It will comprise 2 papers (Paper-I and Paper-II, to be held on the same day).
(I) Paper-I will comprise objective type questions on GK, Reasoning, Maths &/ knowledge of the trade/ discipline. A total of 120 questions will be there. For every wrong answer, 1/3rd marks allotted to that question will be subtracted from the overall score. The time duration will be 1.5 hours.
(II) Paper-II (Not for Maintainer post, NE08) will comprise objective type questions on English language. A total of 60 questions will be there. For every wrong answer, 1/3rd marks allotted to that question will be subtracted from the overall score. The time duration will be 45 minutes.
Those who qualify separately in Paper-I & Paper-II and rank high on the merit list (Both Paper-I & Paper-II separately) shall be invited, based on the Written Exam (both Paper-I & Paper-II together), for Interview / GD / Psychometric Test / Medical Examination.
How to Apply:
(I) Candidates must visit www.delhimetrorail.com & click on the link “Career”.
(II) Thereafter, open the recruitment notification titled “DMRC/OM/HR/I/2016”
(III) Candidates should fill all the details regarding their age, personal information, educational etc. in the online application form
(IV) Candidates should upload the scanned copy of passport colour photo, scanned copy of signature, OBC/SC/ST/PWD certificates.
(V) After successfully filling the application form, a bank Challan with a unique Bank Reference Number will get generated.
(VI) For payment of fees, candidate must visit the nearest SBI branch with the system generated bank challan only, with a unique “Bank Reference Number” in triplicate (1st copy – Bank Copy, 2nd copy – Candidate’s Copy & 3rd copy – DMRC’s Copy). DMRC has authorized to collect application fee, in a specially opened DMRC Account No. 33700092265.
