IBPS Clerk 2016 Notification – Bank Clerical Vacancies

Important Dates:

  • Online Registration including Editing / Change in Application Form – 22nd August, 2016 to 12th September, 2016
  • Online Payment of Application Fee / Intimation Charges – 22nd August, 2016 to 12th September, 2016
  • Download of Call Letter for Online Exam (Preliminary) – 18th November, 2016 Onwards
  • Online Exam (Preliminary) – 26th November, 27th November, 3rd December & 4th December, 2016
  • Download of Call Letter for Online Exam (Mains) – December 2016
  • Online Examination (Main) – 31st December, 2016 & 1st January, 2017

Age (As on 1st August, 2016): Minimum: 20 years & Maximum: 28 years (A candidate must have been born not before 2nd August, 1988 & not after 1st August, 1996 (both dates inclusive).

Educational Qualification (As on 12th September, 2016): Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a Govt. recognized university.

NOTE – The candidate must have valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he / she is a graduate on the day he / she registers & indicates the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.

Application Fees / Intimation Charges:

  • 100/- for SC / ST / PWD & Ex-Servicemen
  • 600 /- for all others

How to Apply:

(1) Candidates must visit the website www.ibps.in & click on the Home Page to open the link “CWE Clerks”. Click on the option “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CWE-Clerks (CWE-Clerks-VI)”. This opens the On-Line Application Form.

(2) Candidates should then click on “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” to register their application by entering the basic information in the online application form.

(3) Candidates have to upload their photograph and signature as per the guidelines given.

(4) Candidates are suggested to fill in the online application form themselves because no change in the information filled in the online application will be possible or entertained.

(5) Before submitting the online application candidates are suggested to use the “SAVE AND NEXT” facility to verify the details in the application form & edit the same if required. No change is possible after clicking the FINAL SUBMIT Button.

Mode of Payment: (I) Application fees / intimation charges can be paid through the ONLINE mode only. (II) The application form is integrated with the payment gateway and payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay / Visa / MasterCard / Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards / Mobile Wallets.

NOTE – (A) Each wrong answer carries a penalty of one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question. (B) Marks scored in the Main exam only will be taken into account for preparing the final merit list. (C) Although total marks for Main exam are 200, yet for provisional allotment these will be converted out of 100.
