I was already working in SBI Group in clerical cadre, when I joined Vidya Guru coaching classes. I wanted to become an officer by taking SBI PO (Probationary Officer) Exam. One of my college friends (Bhawna) and I joined these classes together. The quality of teaching was wonderful and we could freely interact with all the faculty members. The level of our preparation improved a lot and both Bhawna and I were successful in the exams that we took. She cleared the IBPS PO and I became an officer in State Bank of Travancore after clearing SBI PO Exam. I also made my real sister (Shruti) join the Saturday & Sunday (Weekend) batch at Vidya Guru because of my superb experience.

At first, I cleared the SSC LDC & DEO exam and later SSC Combined Graduate Level. I cleared these exams by preparing at Vidya Guru and now I am placed in the Excise Department in Gujarat. The most remarkable thing about the teachers here is that they are always available for the student. They are extremely friendly and understand that the student requires a lot of guidance. Their focus is on clearing each and every doubt of the student so that he does not face any difficulty in cracking the exam. In fact, my experience was so good that I referred my sisters to also join Vidya Guru.

When IBPS Clerk exam was announced, I was not even a Graduate. Back then, even twelfth pass students could also fill the form for a Bank clerk position. My parents insisted me to fill the form but I did not know anything about the exam and its pattern. Whatever I learnt about the exam, its pattern, the preparation and everything was because of Vidya Guru Institute. They built my base and taught me how to solve questions quickly through time saving shortcuts and tricks. Without these I would not have been able to clear the exam.

Before joining Weekend classes at Vidya Guru, I was not sure whether my preparation would ever be good enough to clear FCI & SSC Graduate Level Exams; the exams for which I was aiming. I did not have much time to prepare other than Saturdays & Sundays. However, when I started attending classes I realized that there was a lot of improvement in me and that in those two days (Saturday & Sunday) itself I was learning so much that even revising that well would be enough to make me successful. The coaching was absolutely exam oriented, especially Maths & Reasoning classes which were full of shortcuts and tricks. My speed and accuracy got increased highly because of the excellent coaching, which I got here. Finally I managed to clear both SSC Graduate Level & FCI Exams.

Although I was working as a contractual employee in Sports Authority of India, I wanted to get a permanent Stenographer position in Govt. of India. So, I applied for High Court, Supreme Court and most importantly SSC Stenographer exams. Although I had taken these exams many times even before I got to know about Vidya Guru, yet I was not successful. I was about to give up my dream, but thankfully I got in touch with this institute. I joined the early morning 7am batch and saw that my teachers were really passionate about teaching. They made the classes interesting and full of information. The classes happened on time and throughout the programme not even one class was cancelled or anything!!! Clearing SSC Stenographer exam proved to be the first step. I then took the Combined Graduate Level Exam conducted by SSC and managed to clear even that. After clearing SSC CGL, I now work at Central Secretariat.

I had two career goals which may seem a little different from each other: getting a Govt. Job and becoming a teacher. I had done B.Ed. from Delhi University before becoming a Vidya Guru student. However, I knew that becoming a teacher in any Govt. School is not easy as there are only a few vacancies. In fact, it has become even more difficult since the introduction of CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test). Keeping all this in mind, I wanted to get a Govt. Job, where I could side by side focus on taking CTET and other Exams such as DSSSB and KVS to become a Govt. School teacher. So I decided to focus on SSC Exams. To prepare for SSC CGL and SSC LDC exams I took admission in Vidya Guru. The teachers were fantastic; they had great knowledge and their style of teaching was simply incredible. They knew how to make even the difficult concepts very easy to understand. In the end, not only I but almost 80% of my batch was successful. They are undoubtedly the experts of Govt. Job Exams.

After completing Graduation, I was pursuing MBA through correspondence. But, I wanted a “Reputed Sarkari Naukri” and I made SSC CGL my ultimate goal. Initially English was my weakness and I was a little afraid of it. However, the Ma’am who taught us was such a good teacher that slowly I started feeling confident of being able to perform well. She was a pillar of support for me, helping me all the time, solving the questions which I could not solve myself. On the day when I finally took the exam, I was sure that I would do well in English and I did. All thanks to her that I am now an Excise Inspector.” It is with this confidence that I have also sent my brother to study at Vidya Guru.

After serving in the Indian Defence for some years, I wanted to settle down in a Central Govt. Job. My first choice was to take an SSC exam and enter into Central Govt. at a level where my seniority would be taken into consideration. The major challenge was that I had been out of touch with studies for a very long time and was afraid how I would be able to cope with subjects like Maths & English. But, to my surprise the transition from a working professional to student was very smooth because of the teachers at Vidya Guru. They are experts at training students for Govt. Job Exams and explained every concept and even the minute details in such a way that I had no difficulty in grasping them. The credit of my success to a large extent goes to them.

Not much time was left for IBPS Specialist Officer Exam, when I enrolled myself for Vidya Guru Coaching classes. There was only about a month and a half left before the exam. I wanted to improve my marks in the Aptitude section of the exam. I wanted to join an institute which could help me prepare well for Maths, English and Reasoning in a short span of time. Not only the teachers, but also the centre staff helped me. The centre staff allowed me to attend classes in multiple batches so that I could complete my syllabus as soon as possible. I was present at the centre for about 4-5 hours a day, practicing a lot and learning from the teachers all the time. The teachers were always present to clear my doubts and help me in all possible ways. Now I have passed the exam and am currently waiting for my joining in Punjab National Bank.

Right from the start, I have wanted to become a teacher. To fulfill my dream of becoming a teacher, I completed B.Ed after Graduation. Earlier I had taken CTET Paper-II (Maths & Science) in July 2013 but Child Development and Science were two subjects that resulted in my failure. In December 2013 I decided to take Vidya Guru’s CTET classes for the CTET Exam which was happen on 16th February, 2014. The classes were simply perfect and I could not have asked for anything better. They met my expectations on every aspect. The moment I came out of the test centre on 16th February, I knew I had cleared CTET. When the result got out I was right, even my score was very good.
