IBPS Clerk Exam Recruitment Notification 2020
Dates of Significance:
- Start Date to Apply Online and for Online Payment of Fee: 2nd September, 2020
- Last Date to Apply Online and for Online Payment of Fee: 23rd September, 2020
- Date of Download of Call Letters (Hall Ticket) for Online Preliminary Exam: 18th November, 2020
- Date of Online Preliminary Examination: 5th, 12th and 13th December, 2020
- Date of Declaration of Online Preliminary Examination Result: 31st December, 2020
- Date of Online Main Exam (Tier-II): 24th January, 2021

Age Criteria (As on 1st September, 2020): Minimum: 20 Yrs. & Maximum: 28 Yrs. (Age relaxation is applicable as per existing Govt. of India norms). Candidates born between 2nd September, 1992 and 1st September, 2000 (including both days) are eligible to apply.
Eligibility: Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a Govt. recognized university or an equivalent qualification.
Application Fee Charge:
- For Others: Rs.850/- (Including GST)
- For Scheduled Tribe/ Scheduled Caste/ Persons with Disability/ Ex-Servicemen: Rs. 175/- (Including GST)
- Payment Mode (Online): Debit Cards (Visa/RuPay/Maestro/MasterCard), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Mobile Wallets and Cash Cards.
Procedure for Online Form Filling:
- Visit ibps.in and Click on the home page for opening the link: “CRP Clerks”
- Click on the option “Click Here to Apply Online for CRP-Clerks (CRP-Clerks-X)”. This will open the Online Application Form.
- You have to click on “Click Here for New Registration” and register your application by entering the basic information asked in the online form.
- A registration number and password will be generated. They will be shown on the screen and the same will be sent on your registered email address.
- The form can be reopened with the same registration number and password. Fill in the online form carefully and upload your signature, photo, left hand thumb impression and a hand written declaration as per the guidelines.
- Check all the particulars carefully before clicking the Final Submit Button. No editing is allowed after it.
- The application form is connected with a payment gateway. The payment can be done using Debit Card, Credit Card, IMPS, Internet Banking, Mobile Wallet or Cash Card. E-receipt will be generated on successful payment.
- Take a printout of the final IBPS Clerk Application Form 2020 and the E-receipt for your future use.

Selection Procedure for IBPS Clerk Posts:
- Candidates shortlisted based on their performance on the Preliminary Exam (Tier-I) will appear in Tier-II.
- The marks scored in the Tier-II exam (Main exam) only will be the basis for the final merit list.
- Negative marking is applicable to both Tier-I and Tier-II exams. In case of an incorrect answer, 25% of the marks allotted to that question will be deducted.
