Schedule of Events:
- Online Registration Link Opens – From 18th October, 2017 to 10th November, 2017
- Online Payment of Exam Fee – From 18th October, 2017 to 10th November, 2017
- Dates of Online Preliminary Exam (Tentative) – 27th & 28th November,
- Date of Online Main Exam – 20th December, 2017
Total Number of Vacancies: 623
Age (As on 1st October, 2017): Between 20 & 28 years. Candidates must have been born not before 2.10.1989 & not after 1.10.1997 (both days including).
Educational Qualifications (As on 1st October, 2017): Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in total and the knowledge of Computer word processing.
Application Fees/ Intimation Charges (Non- Refundable):
- 50/- for SC / ST / Persons With Disability / Ex-Servicemen (Intimation Charges)
- 450 /- for OBC & General candidates (Examination Fee & Intimation Charges)

(C) Language Proficiency Test (LPT) – (I) Candidates provisionally selected from the online main exam will have to appear in a language proficiency test. This test will be conducted in the Official / Local Language of the State concerned (Annex-IV).
(II) Candidates will have to clear the cut-offs in each of the objective tests of the online exams.
(III) Candidates have to qualify the Preliminary Exam for appearing in the Main Exam.
NOTE: Candidates have to qualify each section of the objective examinations separately. There is a penalty for wrong answers in the objective exams. 1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
How to Apply:
- Candidates must visit the website rbi.org.in & click on the option “Recruitment for the post of Assistant” which will open a new screen.
- To register application, choose the tab “Click here for New Registration” and enter Name, Contact details & Email-id. A provisional registration number & password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Provisional registration number & password.
- Prior to submission of the online application candidates are advised to use the “SAVE AND NEXT” facility to verify the details in the online application form & modify the same if required.
- Candidates are required to upload their photograph and signature.
- Click on the Preview Tab to preview & verify the entire application form before FINAL SUBMIT.
