SBI Clerk 2016 Notification

Important Dates:

  • Online Registration & Payment of Application Fee – 5th April, 2016 to 25th April, 2016
  • Download of Call Letter for Preliminary Exam – 11th May, 2016 (Tentative)
  • Download of Call Letter for Main Exam – 17th June, 2016 (Tentative)
  • Online Preliminary Exam – May / June 2016 (Tentative)

Age Limit (As on 1st April, 2016): Minimum: 20 years & Maximum: 28 years i.e. a candidate must have been born not earlier than 2nd April, 1988 and not later than 1st April, 1996 (both days inclusive)

Educational Qualification (As on 30th June, 2016):

(I) For Junior Associates – Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification.

(II) For Junior Agricultural Associates – Graduation in Agriculture or Agriculture allied activities.

NOTE – Those in the last semester/ year of Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview/joining, they will be required to produce proof of having completed Graduation on or before 30th June, 2016.

Application Fees & Intimation Charges:

  • 100/- for SC / ST / Persons With Disability & Ex-Servicemen
  • 600 /- for all others

How to Apply: (I) Scan your photograph and signature as per the official guidelines.

(II) Logon to www.statebankofindia.com or www.sbi.co.in & open the appropriate online application format, available in the ‘Careers with Us’ link.

(III) Fill the application carefully and submit the data. In the event of not being able to fill the data in one go, you can save the data already entered.

(IV) When this data is saved, a provisional registration number & password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Note down this number & password.

(V) You can reopen the saved data using the registration number & password to edit the particulars, if needed. This facility will be available only thrice.

(VI) Once the application is filled in completely, you should submit the data. No change or edit will be allowed afterwards.

(VII) After ensuring the correctness of the details in the application form, you are required to pay the fee through the payment gateway integrated with the online application form.

(VIII) The payment can be done by using debit card / credit card or internet banking.

(IX) An e-receipt and application form will be generated upon successful completion of the transaction.

Selection Process: The process will consist of online tests (preliminary & main exams), test of official and/or local language & interview (subject to Government of India approval)
