SBI Clerk Recruitment 2020 Notification

State Bank of India (SBI) has released the official Recruitment notification for Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) Jobs in Clerical cadre. Both regular and backlog vacancies are going to be filled. The candidates who are interested in the vacancy and fulfill the eligibility criteria can apply online.

Total No. of Vacancies: 8134 (Junior Associate – Customer Support & Sales)

Important Dates:

  • Start Date for Applying Online & Fee Payment: 3rd January, 2020
  • Final Date for Applying Online & Fee Payment: 26th January, 2020
  • Date of Downloading Admit Cards (Preliminary Exam): 11th February, 2020 (Tentative)
  • Date of Preliminary Exam (Tentative): February/March, 2020
  • Date of Downloading Admit Cards (Mains Exam): 2nd Week of April, 2020 (Tentative)
  • Date of Mains Exam (Tentative): 19th April, 2020

Application Fee:

For OBC/General/EWS Candidates: Rs. 750/- (Including Intimation Charges)

For PwD/SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman Candidates: Rs. 0 (Intimation Charges Only)

Age (As on 1st January, 2020): 20 – 28 years. Candidates must have been born not before 2nd January, 1992 and not after 1st January, 2000 (Both days are included).

Educational Qualification (As on 1st January, 2020): Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University or an equivalent qualification.

How to Apply:           

Step-1: Candidates to scan their signature and photograph as per the guidelines given in Annexure-II.

Step-2: Candidates must visit the website https://www.sbi.co.in/careers or https://bank.sbi/careers and open the Online Application Form (Recruitment of Junior Associates 2020), available under the ‘Current Openings’.

Step-3: Fill the details in the application form carefully. Once the application is complete, candidates must submit the data.

Step-4: Once the data is saved, a provisional registration no. & password will get generated by the system and displayed on the screen. These must be noted down.

Step-5: After ensuring the correctness of the details provided in the application form, candidates must pay the fees through the integrated payment gateway.

Step-6: Fee can be paid online through internet banking / debit card / credit card by providing details asked on the screen.

Selection Procedure:

Marks scored in the Preliminary Exam won’t be added towards selection. The aggregate Marks scored only in the Mains Exam will be taken into consideration for preparing the final merit list. Merit list will be prepared category wise, state wise.
