Name of the Post: Development Assistants & Development Assistants (Hindi)

Total Number of Vacancies: 85 (General – 56 / SC – 12 / ST – 7 & OBC – 10)

Schedule of Events:

(I) Online Form Filling & Payment of Exam Fees – From 8^th October, 2015 to 30^th October, 2015

(II) Date of Online Exam (Tentative) – November / December 2015

Scale of Pay: The initial basic pay will be Rs. 8,860/- per month. Currently the initial monthly remuneration for Assistants is approximately Rs. 21,419/-

Age Limit (as on 31^st July, 2015): 18 years to 35 years. The candidates who were born not earlier than 1^st July, 1980 and not later than 31^st July, 1997 (both days inclusive) are only eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria:

(I) DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT – (A) Graduation degree in any discipline with at least 50 percent marks (pass class for SC, ST and PWD category candidates) in total. In addition to it, knowledge of word processing on Computer is necessary. (B) Candidates who apply for the posts in a particular state should be proficient in the local language. They must be able to read, write, speak and understand the language of the state. A few questions can be asked in the local language during the interview. Candidates must also be able to write and speak in English.

(II) DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT (HINDI) – (A) Graduation degree in any discipline with at least 50 percent marks (pass class for SC, ST and PWD category candidates), Hindi and English as subjects or Hindi as medium of instruction at Graduation level with English as Compulsory subject or English as medium of instruction at Graduation level with Hindi as Compulsory subject. In addition to it, knowledge of computer operations is necessary. (B) Candidates who apply for the posts in a particular state should be proficient in the local language. They must be able to read, write, speak and understand the language of the state. A few questions can be asked in the local language during the interview. Candidates must also be able to write and speak in English.
